The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz are back at home this Saturday, May 17th at Ford
Center and will host the Iowa Barnstormers. The Dawgz are off to a rough
start, winning only one of six games so far this season.
The Dawgz have made several coaching adjustments and recently named Charles
‘Sparky’ McEwen Head Coach for the remainder of the 2008 season.
McEwen is optimistic about the 10 remaining regular season games. "We have
a base of players who I think we can win with," McEwen said.
The Barnstormers have won three of their last four games, after starting the
season at 0-2. The Dawgz and Barnstormers are fairly evenly matched; bot
h average 193.3 offensive yards per game. The teams are also compatible in
several other categories, including total defense, pass rating, and first
downs.
All Yard Dawgz games are broadcast live on JOX 930 and at www.jox930.com.
