af2 experience: Hunt is the only player to be with the Yard Dawgz since the
inaugural season (2004). He was named to the af2 All-Ironman Team, his first All-Ironman award of his career. Hunt is the 2008 Yard Dawgz leading receiver with
94 receptions for 1,343 yards and 26 TDs. He also added 31 rushes for 54
yards and 8 TDs. Hunt finished the season as Oklahoma City's leading scorer
with 226 total points. Defensively, Hunt had a sack, recovered fumble, safety and added 16 tackles. Truly an all-around player, Hunt returned two kickoffs for TDs and was named the af2’s Schutt Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Dawgz 57-42 Week 2 victory over the Arkansas Twisters. Earlier this season he became the 2nd man in af2
history to reach 1,000 total career points. He is currently 3rd in the af2
with most career touchdowns (175), second with most receiving touchdowns
(150), second with most receiving yards (6745) and fourth with most pass
receptions (486).
Last season, Hunt played in 15 games for Oklahoma City where he collected
111 receptions for 1,426 yards and 25 TDs. Hunt became the 9th player in af2
history to score 100 TDs, the 14th to reach the 4,000 receiving yard mark
and the 7th player to score 700 points in a career. Hunt won U.S. Ironman of
the Week for his performance in Week 15.
In 2006, he played in all 16 games for the Yard Dawgz and had 85 receptions
for 1278 yards, and 34 touchdowns for a total of 222 points. He collect 50
solo and 14 assisted tackles, 3 interceptions, 12 pass breakups, and 1
forced fumble. Received National Conference All-af2 Second Team and received
8 Ironman of the Game honors.
In 2005, he played in all 16 games, collected 58 receptions for 952 yards,
21 touchdowns, and had 52.5 total tackles. He had two interceptions and
received Second Team All-af2 Conference honors.
In 2004, with the Yard Dawgz. He received First Team All-af2 Conference
honors.
2003 at Tulsa, received Second Team All-af2 Conference.
College experience: Played quarterback and punted at NWOSU. He was a two
time All-American in both positions, as well as winning the National
Championship in 1999.
